Transport isn’t just about getting from A to B — it’s about connection, inclusion and opportunity. That’s exactly what the Cumbria Community Transport Conference is all about.
Taking place on Tuesday 10 March 2026, this hybrid event brings together community transport groups, volunteers, specialists and passion‑driven locals to share ideas, learn from one another and explore the future of transport in Cumbria. Whether you’re running a community bus service, looking to start a volunteer car scheme, or simply curious about how transport can bring communities closer, this conference promises practical workshops, inspiring talks and plenty of space for collaboration.
The day will be informal, welcoming and filled with opportunities to develop your projects and network with like‑minded people. With both in‑person and online access available, there’s something for everyone — from grassroots organisers to seasoned transport professionals.
